New hires:

Walgreens named retail veteran Mike Motz as its CEO after Sycamore Partners took the organization private.

Hemab Therapeutics appointed Anant Murthy as chief operating officer.

Biotech Amorphical appointed Eden Ben as CEO.

Iktos named Dr. Ashiq H. Khan as its chief business officer.

BRAIN Biotech AG appointed Johan Jansén-Storbacka as EVP of the BRAINBiocatalysts´ enzyme products business

Executive elevations:

The Trump administration selected Deputy Health and Human Services Secretary Jim O’Neill to serve as acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Board appointments:

Eagle Pharmaceuticals named Abhinav Jain to its board of directors.

Trinity Biotech added Paul Tivnan as a non-executive director.

Departures:

Paul Offit, an outspoken critic of the Trump administration’s second-term vaccine policies, is no longer a member of the Food and Drug Administration’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.

WPP announced that Andrew Scott has informed the company that he will retire as chief operating officer and from the board of directors at the end of the year.

Rocket Pharmaceuticals CFO Aaron Ondrey has resigned.
