Olympia Pharmaceuticals launched its website OlympiaYou.com to connect patients with virtual pharmacist care focused on sexual enhancement, hormone support and weight loss.

The platform helps to destigmatize sexual healthcare and empower users to discuss and manage their health confidently. With the current boom in telehealth, Olympia saw an influx of prescriptions at partner pharmacies.

The site offers ongoing support from pharmacists from discussions of issues such as low libido and erectile dysfunction until after a prescription is received.

Before the OlympiaYou website was launched, Olympia provided information through partnered telehealth and pharmacy companies and clinics that provided instructions and resources.

“We wanted to have a patient Google something and just have a resource like OlympiaYou provide that education, essential information on what the product does and how you can use it,” said Olympia CFO Josh Fritzler.

The platform now allows patients direct access to information, rather than routing them to clinics, making information more readily available and transparent. The goal is to educate patients directly, regardless of whether they use Olympia’s products.

This streamlined access allows patients to call pharmacists to ask personalized questions and gain individualized feedback and recommendations. These representatives are familiar with the products and able to walk through what medications will work best based on the patient’s lifestyle.

“If you’re a patient of ours, and you want to call in Monday through Friday, while we’re open nine to six, you will get a pharmacist on the phone,” Fritzler said.

The support extends beyond just initial consultations, with patients being able to contact pharmacists for updates on their orders, getting refills or obtaining new prescriptions.

The ultimate goal is to give patients a “hand holding experience” that gives them the confidence in understanding what they are putting into their bodies, with no consultation fees and multiple ways to get information.

OlympiaYou is building on Olympia’s overall mission of health, wellness and education. The platform is an extension of their efforts to develop products that benefit a patient’s life, with product options for both men and women. Fritzler explained that sexual wellness is often targeted at men, and they are working to provide options and education for female patients.

The platform represents Olympia’s ongoing work to create educational resources that help patients extend and better their lives through informed health choices.

Along with pharmacist support, educational blogs are posted to continue educating users on a wide range of topics. This content is written by pharmacists and explains wellness solutions in an understandable way. Prescription deliveries are discrete, using standard UPS shipping with no identifying labels to maintain privacy.

Fritzler estimates that the clinical team takes over 2,000 calls per week from providers, patients, telehealth providers and pharmacies. The platform is still new, so more comprehensive data is still being collected.
