Tamsen Fadal has leveraged her impact as an Emmy-award winning journalist to drive systemic change in women’s healthcare, especially through her documentary The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause and her breast cancer and menopause advocacy.

“This work is deeply personal to me as I went through menopause feeling unprepared and alone, and quickly realized far too many women were having the same experience,” Fadal shares.

As co-creator and executive producer, Fadal combines personal stories, interviews with experts and analysis to expose the gaps in medical training, disparities for women of color and stigma surrounding menopause. The film premiered in October 2024 with another new documentary, Before the Pause, on the way.
