Longtime physician executive Dr. Reed Tuckson, whose CV includes leadership roles at the AMA and the March of Dimes, among other accomplishments, focuses on advancing initiatives that support optimal health through education and disease prevention.

In more recent years, he has been instrumental in advancing health equity for Black communities as the cofounder of the Black Coalition Against COVID. He also previously served as the EVP and chief medical officer for UnitedHealth Group, where he worked to improve the quality and efficacy of health services.

Earlier this year, Tuckson received the Elizabeth Fries Health Education Award, which recognizes a distinguished leader who makes significant contributions to health education and health promotion.
