At only 26 years old, Jaycee Kaufman has played an integral role in Klick Labs’ groundbreaking research, using her scientific ability to help advance patient outcomes. While the potential of AI is discussed and pondered by many, Kaufman is helping to lead it, using AI to detect diseases such as type 2 diabetes and hypertension. Her AI model that can determine whether an individual has type 2 diabetes took home the Grand Prix in Innovation at the 2024 Cannes International Festival of Creativity. Kaufman and her team have also been extending their research to detect other diseases and health conditions.

“She seamlessly balances the broader vision of medical innovation with a keen eye for the details that make cutting-edge projects successful,” explained Yan Fossat, SVP of digital R&D, Klick Labs.

When she’s not at Klick Health, Kaufman spends much of her free time with her rescue dog, Hazel, and creating ceramic pieces at her pottery studio.
